Art Class with Fiona di Pinto (Drawingsinadrawer)

Since October 2024 I have been taking art classes with Drawings in a Drawer artist Fiona di Pinto. I love her laid-back teaching style and lose art style. It's great to meet with other artists who share similar interests. I love the energy we have created in our group. And found good friends in the process. While I have seen improvement in my art style and ability, it's not why I take classes. For me as a disabled person, it has helped me socially and allows me to make friends from all over the world.

Art Studio Paint club sessions & painting tutorials

Timed sketching sessions.

We decide upon a time limit for each image and then sketch quickly. This encourages us to look at negative space and general shapes rather than getting bogged down with details. I have then painted them afterwards in my own time.
