Breast Cancer Resources

Coppafeel - breast cancer support for young people

Coppafeel are a wonderful charity. I love their resources and the fact it is aimed at young people. They encourage people to get checking their chests to know their normal. They have really helped me on my own journey through breast cancer.

Macmillan

All cancers, financial aid, emotional support, therapy, Macmillan nurses and much more. Macmillan are a wonderful resource when going through cancer.

Lots of different ways to get in touch with Macmillan. Another great charity who helped me in multiple ways.

Uterine Health Resources

The endometriosis summit is a worldwide organisation aimed at understanding and treating endometriosis. One of their most useful resources is the definitions list which is one of the most accurate, up to date and international resources on endometriosis.

The endometriosis foundation are amazing and put me in touch with another patient with a similar story to mine. They were also able to help me find out more about thoracic endometriosis.

Reusable Towels and Mooncups

Underwear that changed my life

When I had my Bartholin's cyst I swapped to cotton period towels and bamboo underwear. I was tired of boils and sweaty plastic around my crotch. These two little changes made a huge difference. I tried a Mooncup but have a long cervix and didn't get on with it too well. The least painful option for me was free bleeding on to an old towel. I was incapacitated by pain and not able to move anyway. Boody also now do breast cancer support bras and support breast cancer charities like Coppafeel.

* I don't currently receive any affiliate commissions from these brands. They genuinely changed my life and made it better. I believe in, and have used these brands.

Mental Health Resources

Mind run allotments which I found particularly helpful during my recovery from radiotherapy. It was nice to get out into nature and talk to people. It offered a safe place to go and be out in the fresh air.
